The mild climate on Vancouver Island means you can enjoy many outdoor activities year-round, including:

Free study permit assistance
When you recieve a VIU student number, you can apply for study permit assistance with BorderPass. You will get free access to secure online platform to prepare, review and file your study permit application. You also get free guidance and support from Canadian immigration lawyers. When you sign up with BorderPass you have a year of access to the platform.
Qualify for a Post-Graduate Work Permit
You will be eligible for a Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) after you complete any bachelor's degree or master's degree programs. You will also be eligible for the PGWP after you complete a select list of diplomas and certificates.
