You learn about the variety of programs VIU offers and the process for becoming a student. You also get a snapshot of the services and supports for students. Program info sessions will cover a program or suite of programs in detail. All info sessions include an opportunity for you to ask questions.

What to expect at a VIU info session
At a general info session led by VIU recruiters you will learn about the VIU experience. You'll get information on student life, programs and the supports available to you. The session will cover topics like:
- athletics
- clubs
- research
- work integrated learning opportunities
- student housing
Anyone can attend any general info session, but each session will focus on information for a specific group.
At a program session you get all the details about a program or a group of related programs.
All sessions include time for your questions, and we always make sure you know how to contact us for further questions.
