Have you thought about what you want to do after graduation? If you're in high school, you probably get that question a lot. It can be a hard one to answer. Life after high school is a place you've never been, so how do you know what you'll want when you get there?
We're here to help. Join us for Class Shadow Day on October 20 to experience life after high school as a VIU student.

Take real university and trades classes
You can sign up to attend classes. You can take up to three classes, and you can choose from many academic classes and a trades class. These classes are the real deal; they are regularly scheduled classes that you join for the day. You can take part in classroom discussion if you want (but you don't have to). And you might have a chance to take part in some of the hands-on learning we're known for.
Talk to Student Ambassadors
When you're not in class you can explore campus, eat in the cafeteria or chat with the Student Ambassadors or recruiters who will be around to answer all your questions.
Check out classes on different topics or create a schedule as if you're working on a specific degree. This is a chance for you to get a glimpse of the future. Make it yours.
And then the next time someone asks you if you've thought about what you want to do, you can say yes.

PRNU 206 – Integrated Nursing Practice III - Full

A practice course where Practical Nursing students integrate skills, and assessments with knowledge from their theory classes. The students learn how to demonstrate competent nursing care with clients across the lifespan, applying professional practice standards and utilizing leadership. In the class on October 20, 2023 the students will be practicing sterile technique to insert a urinary catheter, with the appropriate nursing assessments and client teaching.
